Who we are
JobLens is operated by PulseCoder LLC ("JobLens", "we", "us"). This policy covers the JobLens web app (app.joblens.net) and the JobLens browser extension. Questions: ralph@pulsecoder.com.
Information we collect
- Account & profile — your name, email, and the work history, education, and accomplishments you add to your JobLens profile.
- Authentication — you sign in through Amazon Cognito; we cache your session tokens locally on your device.
- Job posting content — when you use JobLens on a job posting, we read that page's posting text, title, and application form fields to score your fit and assist autofill.
- Posting URLs & application activity — the URL and title of postings you engage with, and when you submit an application on a page where JobLens is active, so you have a record of where you've applied.
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide JobLens: to score your fit for a role, generate tailored résumés from your verified data, and autofill applications you review and submit. We do not use it for anything unrelated to that purpose.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. We do not transfer it to third parties except the service providers that process it on our behalf to run JobLens.
Service providers
To operate JobLens we share data with processors that act on our instructions:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, the encrypted database, authentication, and secrets.
- Anthropic — your profile and the posting content are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce fit scores and generated summaries.
- Langfuse and Sentry — limited operational data for LLM tracing and error monitoring.
Your rights — export and deletion
You can export your profile data at any time, and you can permanently delete your account from within JobLens. Deletion is a hard deletion: it removes your profile and associated data and deletes your sign-in account.
Security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and credentials are held in a managed secrets store. We retain your data while your account is active and delete it on account deletion.
Children
JobLens is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and older.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
